Kustom Car Club Breakfast, October 2020.
This is a regular free to attend event held by Kustom Car Club Inc. at Mcleans Island on the first Sunday of every month. Kitchen hours are 8-11am. As well as offering a great value cooked breakfast it has become a major focal point for the Canterbury and NZ car scene in recent years. Attendances of 500+ vehicles are not an uncommon occurrence. Although Kustoms are primarily a Hot Rod Club, this event is very inclusive of all petrol-heads. From Minis to Muscle cars, all are welcome. There is a featured vehicle each month which gets pride of place at the front of the show ground. This month Vintage Cars were the featured vehicles and it was great to see several of our members enjoying the event.
It was a record breaking month with an estimated 1000 vehicles attending. I was fortunate enough to have access to a cherry picker from which I managed to get these birds-eye pictures.
